Feast of the Flowering Moon

The Feast of the Flowering Moon is just a week away! Chillicothe host the Feast of the Flowering Moon Festival annually. The festival started in 1984, and has been bringing in crowds ever since. The feast is located in historic downtown Chillicothe and is a family friendly festival!

During the Feast of the Flowering Moon witness beautiful Native American music and dancing, stroll through the many vendors, or stop by the Main Stage to watch our local Ross County Idol. There is so much to do! Plus, all the amazing festival food!

This year the Feast of the Flowering Moon will be held May 26th – May 29th. The schedule is listed below.

Thursday May 26th

  • 6:00 pm – Opening Ceremony (Main Stage)
  • 6:15  pm – Majestic Theatre/Ohio’s Got Talen “Musician’s Workshop” Variety Show
  • 7:15  pm – Ronald McDonald – Intermission (Main Stage)
  • 7:30 pm – Feast of the Flowering Moon – Crowning of the Queen (Main Stage)
  • 8:00 pm – Band Performance by Crossroad Station (Main Stage)
  • 10:00 pm – Festival Closes for the Night

Friday May 27th

  • 12:30 pm – United Way “Iron Chef” – Healthy Cooking Show (Main Stage)
  • 1:00  pm – Native American Dancing (Yoctangee Park)
  • 2:00 pm – Bingo (Rotary Shelter House)
  • 2:00 pm – Chillicothe Martial Arts (Main Stage)
  • 3:00 pm – Chillicothe Dance – In Step (Main Stage)

  • 5:00 pm – Band Performance by The Gravity Cats (Main Stage)
