Looking for a great family activity? If you haven’t heard yet the Ross-Chillicothe Convention & Visitors Bureau has teamed up with iTour Mobile to bring you self guided audio walking tours onto your smart phone.

These three tours include “Welcome to Ross County”, “Downtown Chillicothe History & Architecture”, and “Chillicothe History & Mystery Ghost Tour”.  All of these tours are unique and give you bits of information on Ross County and Chillicothe.

The first tour “Welcome to Ross County” gives you an overview of some of the fun things to do in Ross County. Featuring some of our attractions, parks and much more!

The second tour “Downtown Chillicothe History & Architecture” provides you with rich history and details on the beautiful architecture in downtown Chillicothe. This tour features 15 beautiful locations. The information in this walking tour was provided by local historian, Kevin Coleman of Intrepid Heritage Services.

The third tour “Chillicothe History & Mystery Ghost Tour” features 12 locations that you may know from the League of Women Voters Annual Ghost Walks! They have provided us with the spooky stories for this fun walking tour.

To download and start walking just search iTour Mobile on your Android or Apple device! Once you have installed just search up any of these tours or go to “nearby”.
