It is getting cold outside! Are you trying to find something for your family to do inside this winter? Chillicothe & Ross County Public Library has eight different branches in our area.

Any day Monday – Saturday one of our branches or more will have an activity going on for your family. They even have activities for adults if you need some adult time this winter Check out what just a week of fun looks like in our libraries.

On Monday the 11th the Richmond Dale Branch will be have a pajama night with bedtime stories and pancakes for dinner starting at 6:30 p.m.

Then on Tuesday at the Main Branch head over for Music Time! Every Tuesday until February 23rd from 9:00 a.m. – 10:30 p.m. join the Main Branch Library to stimulate your child’s development through playful music and movement activities.  This class does have limited space available so it is best to preregister at www.rossdd.org or to call Lisa at 775-7044 ext. 218.

Looking for something to do for the older kids after school? Head over to the Main Branch at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday to come see Karate, Ju-Jitsu, Sombo & IAI-DO expert and teach Don Madden! They will be learning some fun moves, making a Ninja head band, and discovering their Ninja names!

If your looking for some one on one time with your baby, toddler or preschooler then Discovery Garden at the Main Branch will be tons of fun for your little one! This event is every Thursday from 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. during the class you will have imaginative play, read stories, play games, enjoy making crafts, and listen to music!

On Friday the Huntington Branch will be having Anime and Manga book club! From 3:30 p.m. – 6:30 p.m. learn about the different series and characters and have fun exploring the world of Anime. This is so much fun for teens and preteens! No need to sign up just come in and have fun with your friends.

Saturday the South Salem Branch will be creating with Legos at 2:00 p.m. This is fun for the whole family! Everyone enjoys using their imagination to see what you can build with Legos.
