Self Guided Walking Tours

If you have any questions about your stay in Ross County or Chillicothe, look no further than the Ross-Chillicothe Convention and Visitor’s Bureau. Whether planning a quick weekend trip with your family or a group tour of the area, the Bureau is the place to start with an array of services provided to assist you with planning your trip. If you have children, we can tell you about our parks or events that may be suitable for your family’s entertainment. We can even provide maps and directions to all of your destinations. For larger groups, we offer facility and lodging coordination services, guest activities and tours, media publicity, packaging, and itineraries.

Kevin Coleman wears the garb of a citizen of 1803, when Ohio became a state and Chillicothe its first capital. Kevin is a local historian, architectural historian, and journalist. A native of Ross County, he has also been a schoolteacher, and has spoken before many groups.
