Valentine’s Day, the day to show your special valentine how much they mean to you is almost here! On Sunday, February 14th we celebrate the day of love that dates back to the 5th century.

Did you know that the oldest valentine in existence is from 1415? It’s a poem written by Charles (Duke of Orleans) to his wife while he was imprisoned in the Tower of London.

On Valentine’s Day, Bishop Flaget is the venue for chocolate lovers! The 23rd Annual Chocolate Fantasy event takes place. During this event, your ticket gets you four servings of chocolate deserts. This is the perfect option in addition to your already planned activities or as a last minute surprise!

It’s going to be a pretty cold Valentine’s Day weekend, so if you’re trying to find something fun for the kids to do, surprise them with a trip to Triple Crown Sports. While there, they can enjoy pizza, arcade games and Super Inflatable Land. Other options for a family outing is Shawnee Lanes for some bowling or Danbarry Cinema for a movie.
