After a long winter week in Ross County it looks like we will finally be getting some warmer weather. After being stuck indoors all week this is the perfect weekend to get out and enjoy the day!
Here in Ross County we have a large number of Antique Shops. Shopping in Antique Stores is something that many people enjoy doing. It is fun for the whole family. You never really know what you will find. It is fun to just walk through the stores and see what unique piece each location has to offer, or maybe you’re redecorating a room and can’t seem to find the perfect piece of furniture? An old antique piece might be just the touch your room is missing.
Maybe you would like to start your day off in Downtown Chillicothe. Currently you can find eight different antique stores within the beautiful downtown of Chillicothe. These shops include; The American Vintage Warehouse, Buried Treasures, Chillicothe Antique Emporium, Chillicothe Swap Shop, Down Home Treasures, Julie’s Shop on Paint, Old Canal Antiques and Primitives, and Porch Swing Days. You can find more information on each location by clicking under the “Where to Shop” tab on our website.
After spending the morning strolling through Chillicothe to continue your antique treasure hunt take a drive to Bainbridge! It is a beautiful, relaxing drive. In the town of Bainbridge here in Ross County you will spot another unique Antique Shop called The Trading Post Antiques.
Of course, don’t forget to complete your day by visiting Annie Rooney’s Primitives in Kingston! They have a beautiful store with unique home décor.
