October was a busy month here in Ross County! The weather was perfect to get out and enjoy all of the Halloween and fall themed events. Halloween keeps growing in Ross County and all of the events keep getting better and better. If you missed the scares from Haunted Mountain, Terror in the Hills, and all of the others, make sure to plan to visit for next year.
Our last festival of the year takes place in Bainbridge for the Fall Festival of Leaves. They had wonderful weather, great crowds, and a lot of fun! It’s always great to visit with our partners and friends out in Bainbridge during the festival. Again, if you have never been – make sure to check it out next year.
November is now upon us and we need to switch gears from spooky to holiday festive. Looking at our calendar of events, that switch may not be so difficult after all. There are plenty of holiday bazaars scheduled on weekends in November. This is also going to be the final year for the Pioneer Center’s Craft Bazaar.
Downtown Chillicothe will be holding their annual Christmas Open House on the weekend before Thanksgiving. Bring the family downtown for some old-fashion fun with carriage rides, and a new, unique trip around downtown on a trackless train! The Downtown Associates will also be crowning their Snowflake Pageant Queen & King during the event.
These events are just a small amount of the events taking place in November. The Junior Civic League will be holding their annual Christmas Tree Gala, Adena Mansion & Gardens is hosting their special “Holidays at Adena” event, and the library is a great source for activities for the children during the upcoming months.
How can you find out more about all of these? Visit our extensive online calendar of events for complete listings. Are you an organizer for an event? Make sure to send your event information to us by emailing: [email protected].
