October was a truly busy month in Ross County! We hope you enjoyed all of the Halloween and Fall activities that took place this year. Now that all of the Halloween and fall fun are behind us, we’re gearing up for the Holiday Season!
Starting this weekend and going throughout November are a plenty of holiday bazaars. This is a great way to get started on your holiday shopping list. You can find a lot of unique gifts at these bazaars and great food while helping local causes. While we’re talking about your holiday shopping list, don’t miss out on the specials that take place in downtown Chillicothe during the annual Christmas Open house.
Sometimes it’s difficult to come up with ideas to keep the kids entertained during the cooler months of winter. Our Ross County libraries offer a lot of activities and special events throughout the year. This is a great source of entertainment with small amounts of education.
There’s also entertainment that will take place at the Majestic Theatre and Paxton Theatre during November. Catch a one-man play about legendary Ohio State coach, Woody Hayes at the Majestic or take in one of the concerts at the Paxton Theatre in Bainbridge. There’s also lots of local entertainment going on at venues throughout downtown Chillicothe.
Even though the summer months are over and winter approaches, there’s still plenty of events happening in Chillicothe and Ross County. So if you’re looking for something to do, our calendar of events is always a great first stop. We try to keep a wide variety of events and activities listed so you can plan ahead.
