A day of kindness does exist! Join us downtown in your yellow gear as you experience and perform random acts of kindness to business owners, shoppers, peers and basically anyone you see. All the while you will also be available to receive someone else’s random act of kindness they are performing. An act of kindness may be a simple “hello”, it could be handing out a yellow item which signifies kindness, or it could be an encouraging message your share with the community. Hundreds of school age children are bussed to the downtown in the morning for this event, taking to the streets to create a sea of yellow and many businesses come out on the sidewalks to welcome the children and hand out their kindness. Let’s make someone’s day brighter, we could all use a little cheer!
