The Nathaniel Massie Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution will be serving fish dinners and sandwiches on August 17, 18, 19 from 11:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. The 40 & 8 Fish Stand in Yoctangee Park will be donating the proceeds from their sales to Wreaths Across America, with the DAR members working in the fish stand. Dinners are $8.00 and sandwiches are $5.00.
The Wreaths Across America is a national program that provides wreaths to decorate Veterans graves on December 16, 2023. Nationally, over three million wreaths are laid on graves, with 1200 being placed on graves in Ross County cemeteries. The Nathaniel Massie chapter of the DAR encourages community members to participate in the wreath laying. Come to Greenlawn Cemetery at 10:00 a.m. on December 16th.
