Friends of Tar Hollow are holding their “Wild Flower Hike-A-Thon” fundraiser. It will be about a two-mile hike, after meeting at the spillway a van will take hikers up to the fire tower and they will walk down from there on a trail with interpretation. This is a fundraiser so they are asking those interested to collect at least $10 in pledges to participate with all proceeds supporting the park and its seasonal event programs.
