It is an out-and-back course on the Tri-County Triangle Trail that is flat and mostly shaded, following a scenic creek with beautiful vistas, bridge crossings, no road crossings and friendly volunteers. The trail is open to other uses, so use caution and be courteous. The half marathon is 13.1 miles and the 5K is 3.1 miles. 5K walkers are welcome! Half-marathon participants should be at least 16 years of age and all participants should be in good health.

Fruit drinks & water will be provided at the start and finish with a meal of ham, beans, and cornbread at the finish. Water will be available at water stations along the route.
