You are invited to join us for an outdoor lunch – with a gardening demonstration – from 12 noon to 2pm, Saturday, June 5th, 2021, at the Lucy Hayes Heritage Center at 90 West Sixth Street, Chillicothe, Ohio. Jenn Sloane of the Chillicothe-Ross County Public Library will offer hands-on guidance for your flowerbeds and garden.

The event will be in the side garden, but if the weather is inclement, we will repair indoors with full consideration of health protocols.

The cost is $15 per person. Please pay at the door, or mail to P.O. Box 1790, Chillicothe OH 45601. Donations are welcome. Make checks out to “Friends of the Lucy Hayes Heritage Center.”

The boxed lunches are made from scratch by Sally Rathkamp of “Food for the Soul” Please select one per person:

Choice #1 – Turkey bacon club on whole wheat – with lettuce, tomato, and mayo on the side.

Choice #2 – Whole grain bread – with hummus, greens, tomato, pickled onion, cucumber, shaved carrots, pumpkin seeds, and avocado.

Both meals include romaine lettuce salad with sunflower seeds, apples, craisins, and champagne Parmesan vinaigrette dressing…and an oatmeal cookie.
