Celebrate Statehood Day with a tour of the Ross County Heritage Center. Special exhibits on military arms & armaments from the War of 1812 through the Civil War, the history of theatrical & musical productions in Chillicothe, 1805-1925, rare Ohio Statehood documents, all permanent exhibits will also be open, and at 4pm Kevin Coleman will present a new program “The Architecture of Statehood: Log Cabins & Log Houses, a Foursquare Courthouse, and a Frontier Mansion” (Co-sponsored by the Chillicothe Restoration Foundation).
