At Stand Down, individuals, and families can take time away from being, or the fear of becoming, homeless. All community members experiencing homelessness, who want or need housing assistance, or who have an interest in helping with this important issue are encouraged to attend. There will be a kid-zone set up to entertain children while parents are getting assistance.

Donations of items (new and gently used) for the homeless are gratefully accepted. Items needed include hygiene products, clothing and non-perishable food.
