Relay for Life is an annual team fundraising event benefiting the American Cancer Society. the night of the event features games, food, free entertainment (including the Hanny Hooker Band), a silent auction with more than 100 items, and a cancer survivors dinner.

Teams undertake efforts for months with this fundraising drive which culminates in an overnight camp out and celebration. It is here, at the overnight event, that teams take turns walking or running around a track at the Ross County Fairgrounds. And, because cancer never sleeps, each team commits to having at least one participant on the track at all times.

Opening Ceremonies begin at 6pm; Cancer Survivors Dinner at 7pm; and Luminaria Ceremony begins at 9:30pm. Free musical entertainment throughout the evening with a special performance from the locally known Hanny Hooker Band.

More than 5,200 communities, hold this signature fundraiser for the American Cancer Society. Each Relay for Life Event is unique to its community, but the true power of this event lies in the combined commitment of thousands of participants, volunteers, and supporters to help the American Cancer Society save lives from cancer.
