Featuring the historical society’s beautiful, one-of-a-kind Christmas tree decorated with hundreds of Pennsylvania/German hand-cut paper ornaments by local artist Bonnie Grove; a charming Victorian Christmas parlor with late 19th & early 20th century holiday decorations and toys; and other exhibits including “Toys from the Attic,” and “Chillicothe’s Model Railroad.” New this year will be a special exhibit on Ross County’s German culture. The event will also present another opportunity to see our current exhibit in the McKell Library titled “Ross County Authors & Artists.” Enjoy traditional holiday dulcimer music and browse the Museum Store for special holiday gifts including many books and other hard-to-find publications on local and regional history for those history buffs on your shopping list.
