The Ross County Historical Society invites children 6-12 years old to the 2022 Holiday Children’s Program, “Twas an Old Fashioned Christmas.”

Join us for this program of holiday fun from days of long ago. Enjoy a dramatic reading of the 1822 Christmas classic, “A Visit From St. Nicholas” also known as “The Night Before Christmas.” Then make a copy of the book to take home. Tour the Museum’s Victorian Christmas Parlor and permanent toy exhibits. Learn tricky 19th century parlor games that may make you think while you are having fun. Then make crafts based on children’s pattern books of the time. Seasonal refreshments will be provided.
