10:00 – 11.00am. KAYAKING – Meet at the boat dock across from the camp store. Come and learn the basics of kayaking and then try a little excursion on the lake. Instruction time will be at 10:00am. Instructional programs are geared towards learning outdoor skills safely, it is required that participants attend the safety talk and demo to be able to participate in the program. This applies even if you have prior experience. Be prepared to get a little wet. Ages 7 and up. Children must be accompanied by an adult. Presented by Park Naturalist Matthew Minter
10:00 – 3:00 – ANTIQUE TRACTOR SHOW- Behind Park Office Presented by Southern Ohio Farm Power of the Past Club.
11:00 – 12:00 – LUMBERJACK SHOW – Below Dam – Followed by a special session for kids. Sponsored by Ricer Equipment
12:00 – Lunch Break – Enjoy a picnic lunch from home or visit the Pike Lake State Park Camp Store, Trail’s End Restaurant(formerly Tanglewood) on Pike Lake Road, Frednecks Pizza in Nipgen, Restaurants in Bainbridge, Country Crust Bakery on US Rt. 41.
1:00 – TRACTOR PARADE Presented by Sothern Ohio Farm Power of the Past Club
1:00 – 2:00 – ARCHERY: Meet across from the Nature Center. There will be safety instructions on how to shoot a bow safely, Instructional programs are geared towards learning outdoor skills safely, it is required that participants attend the safety talk and demo to be able to participate in the program. This applies even if you have prior experience Participants must be able to draw a 20 lb. bow. Children must be accompanied by an Adult. Presented by Park Naturalist Matthew Minter
1:00 – 2:00 – FLY FISHING DEMO: Meet at the Handicap Fishing Pier. Come and learn the art of fly fishing, maybe give it a try. Presented by Stephanie Stanley
2:00 – 3:00 – DISC GOLF CLINIC: Meet by West Shelter House. Hear some tips and try out this up and coming sport. Instructional programs are geared towards learning outdoor skills safely, it is required that participants attend the safety talk and demo to be able to participate in the program. This applies even if you have prior experience The Wildcat Hollow Disc Golf Course is one of the top rated Disc Golf Courses in the State. Presented by Jeff Hawley
