IN honor of 70 years of Culture and Memory, a theme for Ohio University-Chillicothe this year for its 70th birthday, the campus will hold its annual Kennedy Lecture. The lecture is free and open to the public.

Dr. Matt Saltzberg, theatre director and educator, will give a lecture titled “Rehearsing Empathy.” The talk will explore educators’ relationships with students, highlighting empathy as the means of strengthening those connections.

The annual Kennedy Lecture at OU-C aims to attract nationally recognized speakers who share expertise from diverse fields. Funded through an Ohio University grant, previous speakers include author Dr. Miki Crawford, historian Dr. Charles McKinney, and Russian-American political scholar, Dr. George Hudson.
