Join Historic Chillicothe, Inc. for a special evening marking the public announcement of plans to restore one of Ross County’s oldest and most important historic homes – a Federal-style sandstone residence built between 1800 and 1810, once home to Mary Worthington Macomb and her husband David Macomb.

Chillicothe historian Mary Anne Brown, a nationally recognized authority on the Worthington family, will present the remarkable and poignant life story of Mary Worthington Macomb – eldest child of Thomas Worthington, one of Ohio’s founding leaders.

This event celebrates both Chillicothe’s pioneer heritage and the continuing mission of Historic Chillicothe, Inc., a nonprofit organization dedicated to preserving the region’s historic structures for future generations.

Light hors d’oeuvres, birthday cake, and beverages will be served.
