Expansive Ideas: The Quantum World
March 4 @ 5:00 pm - 6:00 pm

The rules that seem to govern the smallest bits of matter and energy seem to defy all common sense and intuition, and yet scientists have harnessed these rules to develop most modern technologies we commonly take for granted. We’ll explore this world where particles can be everywhere at once, can zip into and out of existence, and where probability rules all.
All ages are welcome for this interactive presentation with Dr. Michael Koop, associate professor of instruction in astronomy and physics.
