The Ross County Humane Society and the City of Chillicothe is presenting “Dog Days of Summer.” Featuring a 1k doggie dash around the park, dog-owner look-alike contest, demonstrations from the Chillicothe Police Department K-9 unit, and opportunities to talk with a veterinarian from the North Fork Animal Clinic. Canines will get a chance to cool off during a doggie splash. Chillicothe & Ross County Public Library will be showing “Cats & Dogs” at dusk.
