Participants will receive information about gorgets created by ancient Native American cultures and make their own. What is the significance of these ornamental amulets and how were they used? How did the Ancient Ones relate to the natural world around them and how was their spirituality expressed? Participants will be guided to make their own gorget using self hardening clay after connecting with the animal, bird, or reptile they feel most connected with.
