Tickets are now available for the Junior Civic League’s 28th Annual Christmas Tree Gala, “Christmas in the City.” The event begins with a silent auction at 6:30 pm. That will be followed by a live auction featuring Christmas Tree Packages at 8:00 pm and the evening will also include hors d’oeuvres and a cash bar. Tickets are $50.00 and may be purchased at E.M. Smith Jewelers at 1334 N. Bridge Street, Dr. Patricia Haller’s office at 64 Executive Center Drive, and Tomlinson Insurance at 90 W. Main Street. They also are available online at Eventbrite.com and at the door the evening of the event. The event takes place during the downtown Christmas Open House so organizers are urging participation in both activities.
