The events start off with a 5KRun/Walk on Saturday, July 12^th.  Same day registration is at the shelter in Yoctangee Park by the Pump House.  Registration is from 7:00am – 8:00am and the race begins at 8:00am. It is complete with prizes for 1^st, 2^nd, 3^rd, places and door prize drawings.  Pre-registration includes a shirt and a ticket for the Canal Celebration. Music with a DJ start the festivities and entertain spectators during the race. Registration forms are available at the Pump House and the Convention and Visitors Bureau.
