Learn the basics of throwing on the potter’s wheel including wedging, centering, coning up, and pulling the side walls at the instruction of Jessica Grey.
Jessica graduated from Ohio University Chillicothe in 2023 with an associate degree in arts and humanities. Since taking ceramics, they have found a love for pottery and want to share their passion with the community.
Jess specializes in wheel throwing but is experienced in many other artistic mediums.
Cost $45/person.
This class is for potters ages 12 and up.

1. Up to 5lbs of clay (additional clay available for purchase at $1.00/lb.)
2. A dedicated instructor for the duration of the course
3. Two kiln firings for up to 3 pieces per person.
4. Glaze for up to 3 pieces per person after first firing.
