Become a Junior Archaeologist
September 23, 2017 @ 9:30 am - 2:30 pm
Archaeology provides a link to the past and a means to study the people who came before us. Junior Archaeologists are important people because they help archaeologists take care of very special places. The Junior Archaeologist program is an opportunity for children to learn about the archaeology at Hopewell Culture National Historical Park and have fun at the same time.
Children ages 5-12 are invited to participate in this event. Two sessions are available – sign up your child based on their age:
9:30am – 11:30am children ages 5-8
12:30pm – 2:30pm children ages 9-12
Children will complete several hands-on activities, including a mock dig, to earn a Junior Archaeologist badge!
Register your child’s spot by calling (740) 774-1126.
