Meet at the Appalachian Forest Museum 

The culminating event for the Artist in Residence program is a gala showcase and sale of the paintings produced by the artists over the previous three week period. All artists will be available for conversation and questions, and they will be delighted to talk to you about their experiences at the Sanctuary and the stories behind their work. Several dozen paintings will be on display and available for sale. If you are already familiar with the Arc of Appalachia Preserves, you may recognize the subjects of many of the paintings, whether it be a cedar-laden field at Kamelands, a rocky gorge filled with rushing waterfall in Cave Canyon, or a single milkweed blooming at Ridgeview Farm. Light refreshments will be served.
