Adena Mansion & Gardens Lecture Series

Adena Mansion and Gardens is proud to host Worthington Family Historian, Beverly Gray of Chillicothe, Ohio as she examines the fashions of the 1800’s on Sunday, August 7, 2016 at 2:00 pm.
Back by popular demand, please join us for this informative lecture, complete with runway! Highlights will include a power point presentation and fashion show representing the various garments worn by the Worthington men, women and children during their time at Adena. This year’s lecture will feature new garments added to our collection and more details regarding the fashion trends of the 19th century.
This event is offered at no cost. Admission to Adena Mansion and Gardens is: $10 for adults, $9 for seniors, $5 for children 6 and up, free for OHC and AMGS members and children under 5. Adena Mansion was the home of Ohio’s sixth governor, Thomas Worthington. Adena Mansion and Gardens Society manages the site on behalf of the Ohio History Connection. Adena is located at the south end of Adena Road, off Pleasant Valley Road, which is the first road off State Route 104, just north of the US 35 interchange at the north edge of Chillicothe.
