Local historian and guide Kevin Coleman will give guidance on the graveyard that was there before the cemetery, the funerary architecture and symbolism in the monuments, the historic quarry at the rim, the history around the site, the geology of the location, and even what you see in the grand views.

Join me for my pre-Memorial Day guided tour – with a nod to those buried there – 2pm to about 4pm, Sunday May 29th.

Starting at the Renick stone wall, I will use my outdoor voice so everyone can hear me as we stay safe in the fresh air and sunshine. It will be $10 for adults, $5 for students, and $15 for families (three or more family members including children). Pay “at the door” at the with cash or check.

The tour begins near the Renick stone walls (two stars on the attached map), ends near the cell tower (near no. 4 on the map)…and can be extended to the gazebo / bandstand (no. 6 on the map).
