2021 Summer Junior Member Program

$10.00The Ross County Historical Society invites children 6-12 to join us for our 2021 Summer Children’s Program “From the Hands of the Hopewell: How the Mound Builders Made and Used Tools.”
Explore the lives of Ross County’s earliest inhabitants through hands-on activities. Try your hand at drilling stone, making a flint scraper, and learning about stone tools and their uses. Take home a piece of history that you made yourself. Explore the Historical Society’s collection of original artifacts and discover how people made these objects thousands of years ago.
Refreshments will be served.
Fee is $10 per child (includes one year of Junior Member programs.)
Space is limited. Please call 740-772-1936 to register by July 26. Advanced registration is required for all participants.
