Celebrate Independence Day the way they did two centuries ago! You will be transported back in time to experience the holiday like it was celebrated in the early 1800s. Activities will include readings of portions of the Declaration of Independence, patriotic poems, a presentation of the flag, a toast to George Washington and 21 gun salute by the Ross County Veterans Honor Guard.

Then,  join us on the grounds for an old fashioned game of Base Ball (yes, two words) as Adena Mansion and Gardens welcomes The Ohio Village Muffins, an 1860’s baseball team that plays the game by 19th century rules. Come out and cheer on our team!
