The ephemeral display of spring woodland flowers – all blooming at once – is as close to heaven on earth as any nature spectacle we can ever experience.

Day long field trips head out on Saturday and Sunday to botanical hotspots and outstanding floral showcases of our region, featuring both Arc preserves and other private and state-owned natural areas. The treks are led by some of Ohio’s most talented botanists and interpretive naturalists.

This year our sub-theme is bats! We have invited Merlin Tuttle, International Bat Conservationist, to be our keynote speaker for one of our two evening presentations at the Paxton Theater. Included are two breakfasts and one dinner – with remarkably delicious food.
