24 Hours of Appalachia: Buckeye Blitz II

24 Hours of Appalachia
An endurance overland adventure through the heart of the Appalachian Mountains
The 24 Hours of Appalachia is not a race. It is not a guided trail ride. It is a true test of preparation, navigation, teamwork, and grit.
Created by overlanders and adventure riders who know these mountains intimately, this event sends you deep into the backroads of Appalachia across West Virginia, Kentucky, and Ohio. Expect long gravel stretches, remote forest roads, technical terrain, changing weather, and very little sleep. You will rely on your skills, your equipment, and your ability to adapt.
Participants will navigate a continuous GPX route over a full 24-hour period, choosing how to manage time, fatigue, fuel, and recovery along the way. Whether you are in a fully built overland rig, a side by side, or on a dual sport or adventure bike, the challenge is the same. Finish the route safely, legally, and under your own power.
This event is designed for those who crave real adventure. The kind that demands planning before the start, smart decisions during the night, and respect for the terrain and communities we travel through.
You will travel on public roads and legal trails, pushing deep into areas where help is far away and self-reliance matters. Preparation is not optional. This is Appalachia, raw and unfiltered.
If you are looking for something polished and easy, this is not it.
If you want an unforgettable experience that will test you and your machine, welcome.
Prepare well. Respect the land. Trust your team.
Earn every mile.
