Summer Junior Member Program
July 25, 2018 @ 9:30 am - 12:30 pm
Free – $10.00Summer Junior Member Program presented by the Ross County Historical Society.
For hundreds of years, children learned how to make a living by working as apprentices alongside “masters” of various crafts, trades, and professions. We’re recreating those days! Kids will sign their apprenticeship papers and begin learning the historical trades of rope maker, seamstress/tailor, and carpenter. They will make craft items to take home. When their “work” is done, they’ll get to play popular children’s games from the 1800s. Refreshments provided!
Space is limited. Please call 740-772-1936 to reserve your spot by July 23. $10 fee for non-members (which includes one year of membership to the Jr. Member program.) Kids from households with family memberships to RCHS are considered Jr. Members and can participate for free.
