Festivities will begin with a 9:30am Bird & Nature Walk led by members of the Scioto Valley Bird & Nature Club. Bring your binoculars and learn about all the birds and other life that make Adena their home. Later in the day, a naturalist will lead a Spring Hike around the Adena grounds to discuss all the flora and fauna on display at this time of year.

Enjoy the sounds of a string ensemble at 11:00am and a brass quintet at 1:00pm.

Local artist, Skip Hathaway, will lead instruction on soap making from noon to 3:00pm. Children can join her in the Tenant House where they can make their very own bar of soap.

Maps of Adena’s four marked trails will be available and all of the hiking trails will be open. Visitors are welcome to picnic on the grounds or in the shelter house by the Education Center.
