The Ross County Heritage Center is hosting their 2021 Christmas Open House. The event features a beautiful, one-of-a-kind Christmas tree decorated with hundreds of hand-cut paper ornaments by local artist Bonnie Grove; a charming Victorian Christmas parlor with late 19th & early 20th century holiday decorations and toys; and other exhibits including “Toys from the Attic” and “Chillicothe’s Model Railroad.” The event will also present an opportunity to see our current exhibit in the McKell Library titled “Samplers & Needlework.” Enjoy traditional holiday music and browse the Museum Store for special holiday gifts including many books and other hard-to-find publications on local and regional history for those history buffs on your shopping list.
