Join us for an evening dinner at the Lucy Hayes Heritage Center to commemorate the December 30th, 1852 marriage of Lucy Ware Webb and Rutherford Birchard Hayes.

For this year, the annual tradition of the Hayes’ Wedding Banquet at the Lucy House will be on the lovers’ holiday – Valentine’s Day – Friday, February 14th, 2020.

“Elegant Eats” will cater the event, with a menu to be released soon (as well as our newsletter) – but including Italian stuffed chicken breasts. We will begin to gather for conversation and appetizers at 4, with dinner served at 5. It should be light enough outside to comfortably head home after 6 pm.

Lucy Ware Webb and Rutherford Birchard Hayes were married at her mother’s house in Cincinnati in a simple ceremony on December 30, 1852. Their wedding banquet was held the day after.
