The Theater Program will present Henrik Ibsen’s Ghosts in a new adaptation by Richard Eyre. Ibsen’s canonical play is at surface level about morality and how past choices influence our present ones. In the context of the exploration of cultural memory, Ghosts invites discussion about how we as citizens of the region and of the US are honoring our past and/or dishonoring it, and how the past makes appearances in our present-day lives, whether we’re aware of it or not. Ghosts will run in the Bennett Hall Auditorium on Thursday, April 6 through Saturday, April 8, with performances starting at 8:00 pm nightly.
