While we are a crystal and mineral shop, we have built a fully interactive, hands on experience that is completely unique to the area.  Our shop features:

* Indoor Running Water Sluice: An all ages gem mining station where visitors can sift through mining rough to discover real gemstones, Arrowheads and fossils.

*Heavy Duty Geode Cracker: A hands on station where visitors can select whole geodes and crack it open themselves to be the very first person to see the crystals hidden inside.

*Interactive UV Room: a dedicated darkened room where visitors can view the vibrant, glowing fluorescence of specialized rocks and minerals.

*The Prospectors Table: An educational lab station equipped with microscope, scale, and research guides where kids and collectors can weigh, visually inspect, and identify their newly found treasures just like real geologist.

Because our entire experience is indoors, we provide a unique, completely weather proof family activity in the county. Perfect for rainy days, hot summer days, or winter weekend outings.
