Set amongst the gorgeous Paint Valley region, Seip Earthworks is one of the most magnificent engineering feats of the Hopewell period. Join us for a ranger-led walking tour on July 6th, or if a large group tour is not your style, drop by Seip Earthworks between 10:00 am and 1:00 pm on July 20th to enjoy a self-guided pace with Park Rangers stationed along the route.
Seip Earthworks Highlights is an opportunity for visitors to pick their path and engage with Park Rangers at several key locations within the last remaining tripartite Hopewell earthwork. Park Rangers will be stationed at several stops to help visitors take a deeper dive into the stories of this amazing site.
Both events begin near the parking lot at Seip Earthworks, 7058 US 50 East, Bainbridge, OH, 45612. Both are free events, and registration is not required. Seip Earthworks is a very large site with minimal shade and unpaved, uneven terrain. Visitors are encouraged to bring water, wear sturdy shoes and a hat, and pack sunscreen and bugspray.
Call the park at 740-774-1126 for more information.
