Santa Claus is Coming to… The Roost! 🎅🏽

Join us for a magical, family-friendly evening that captures the spirit of the season!

From the KNZ trailhead, you will be given a magical map created by Santa’s helpers. The map will guide you up the KNZ trail of lights, with four special stops along the way. Once you get to the end of the trail, you will be rewarded with a ticket to meet the big man himself! Visit The Den (Gary R. Merkamp Environmental Learning Center) to get your picture with Santa and do a little shopping at our merch corner, or swing by The History Camp to meet one of Santa’s favorite helpers, who will be serving up delicious hot chocolate and cookies around the campfire.

EVENT SCHEDULE:
3-4 PM Walk with a Ranger Series- Kick the evening off with an easy walk through the woods with Ranger Bost.
4-4:20 PM Stop by the KNZ Trailhead and pick up your official KNZ Trail of Lights map. You’re gonna want it!
4:20- 6 PM Have fun hiking the Trail of Lights and visiting The Den, History Camp, and the shelter house before heading back down to the parking lot.

*Bring a flashlight or headlamp for the walk back to the car.
*KNZ Tail of Lights is approximately .4miles and is rated easy.
