DESCRIPTION:Schmidt’s Sausage Truck from German Village in Columbus is Coming to the Ross County Historical Society! \nSeptember 15\, 11:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. on the grounds of the Ross County Heritage Center located at 45 West Fifth Street in Chillicothe. \nCome join us for a special day of food & fun as we celebrate the German heritage of Chillicothe and Ross County. Enjoy the sounds of The Goosetown Astonishers from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.\, while you feast on original German food prepared by the world-famous Schmidt’s restaurant located in German Village. Food will be available for purchase throughout the day while supplies last. \nThe event is a social gathering free and open to the public and will take place rain or shine. A large tent with tables and chairs will provide a pleasant setting for outside dining no matter what the weather brings. \nThere will also be a special temporary exhibit on local German culture inside the Heritage Center that you won’t want to miss! \nPlease plan to attend this fun event and bring your friends and neighbors with you.
