DESCRIPTION:Downtown Chillicothe presents BeachFest! Let’s make use of the sand before the Sand in the Streets volleyball tournament takes over on Saturday. Join us downtown on N Paint Street\, Friday August 23rd\, from 7:30p – 10:30pm to listen to great music\, enjoy awesome friends and support the downtown. Music will be provided by 20 Ride\, a Zac Brown tribute band from Charlotte\, NC. This is a family friendly event; we will provide lots of sands toys for the little ones to enjoy and we encourage you to take off your shoes and dance in the sand! Hope to see you down on the “beach”!!

SUMMARY:Battle on the Beach
DESCRIPTION:This year before Sand in the Streets takes over\, we decided to let the local area high school volleyball teams battle it out on the sand! Only it’s NOT the players competing\, it’s their coaches and family members. They will be battling it out for a chance to win $1000 for their child’s school volleyball program. Come support your favorite school! High school kids attending the games can enter for a chance to win an iPad\, 2 iPads will be given away this evening. The prize money for Battle on the Beach is made possible by Kenworth. Battle on the Beach will take place on N Paint\, Friday August 23rd from 5:30p – 7:30p. Don’t leave after the games\, BeachFest will then take over immediately after. See you on the “beach”!

SUMMARY:Chillicothe BrewFest
DESCRIPTION:Here’s your chance to talk to brewers\, sample beer from all around area breweries and listen to some live local music. Join us on N Paint St (between Water & 2nd) on Saturday June 1st. VIP entry is at 1:30pm and tickets are $50/each. Advanced General Admission tickets are $30/each with entry at 3:00pm. Day of ticket sales will be $40. We also offer Last Call Passes for $20/each with this entry being at 5:00pm or after. The event ends at 7:00pm with last tasting at 6:30pm. Proceeds from this event go to projects that Downtown Chillicothe provides to enhance and continue to revitalize our Historic Downtown. This year we will be partnering with Fifty West Brewing Company and Race Penguin for the Chillicothe Half Marathon and 5k. Run in the morning and finish the day off with some great brew! Tickets can be purchased individually for both events or as a combo for a reduced price. \nMust be 21+ to enter
