Meet Ms. Macey at the shelter house to learn about these interesting creatures before cruising around the pond to see who’s hanging out. This program is free to the public and great for ALL ages. Conditions could be wet and muddy\, so come dressed to get dirty! Waterproof footwear is recommended and a flashlight or headlamp is a MUST. Work gloves and old shoes are recommended. DESCRIPTION:Chillicothe Trails and The Ross County Park District Present: Music + Yoga in the Woods \nMeet at the main parking lot at Buzzard’s Roost for a short 15-minute hike along the South Point Lookout Trail. The hike will end at the Historic Camp where a spread of fruit\, sweets\, and other fresh hors d’oeuvres await. Treat yourself to a bright summer mocktail as you find your spot in the woods for yoga.\nEnjoy 60 minutes of slow flow/ beginner-friendly yoga with instructor Codee Mash as local musician Zac McFadden plays acoustic guitar in the distance.\nAfter savasana\, enjoy another hour of food\, drinks\, and acoustic tunes with Zac as we hang out around the campfire. DESCRIPTION:Join Ranger Bost for the first public tour of the new Slate Mills Trail at Buzzard’s Roost.\nThe tour will include a portion of the Hoggard trail\, the Hoggard family cemetery\, ruins of the Hoggard family homestead\, ponds\, replanted pines\, and the Slate Mills hill overlook.\nThe out-and-back trail is approximately 3 miles and the tour will last 2-3 hours. Tour begins and ends at the main parking lot.
