The annual plant sale focuses on “heirloom” plants – varieties raised and passed on before the advent of industrial farming. Over 80 varieties of herbs, tomatoes, vegetables, and flowers will be for sale. There will also be metal art for purchase, such as bottle trees and shepherds hooks, and also some hanging baskets. A pre-sale for AMGS members is held the evening of Friday, May 2, and members will receive a 10 percent discount on purchases throughout the sale. Memberships may be purchased the evening of the pre-sale and during the rest of the sale.
