Ross County Tourism Season

Ross County Tourism Season

Spring is finally here! That means tourism season is here as well. Our local attractions will begin reopening and welcoming visitors back to Ross County.

On April 1st The Ross County Heritage Center will reopen for the season. Tours will be available that will take you through Chillicothe and Ross County’s heritage and includes exhibits on Native American artifacts, Camp Sherman history, antique vehicles, and much more!

Adena Mansion and Gardens will be kicking off their season with their “Spring Awakening” on April 9th. During this special event they will be welcoming spring along with the start of their visitor season. Various activities will unfold over the course of the day to celebrate.

Hopewell National Park remains open through the winter but this a beautiful time of year to stop by! The warm weather and the blooming plants make it so enjoyable to take a relaxing walk to see the mounds and learn more about the Hopewell Culture.

Following soon will be the Chillicothe Railroad Museum who will begin their season on May 1st and the Tecumseh Outdoor Historical Drama who will open their show for the season on June 10th.

Of course as always check out our events calendar for daily events to find out more of the fun going on here in Ross County!
