If you are plus-sized, it can be intimidating to attend a yoga class, but it doesn’t have to be that way! Yoga has no shape, no size, and no judgement – it’s a journey of self-connecting with each breath. In this class, we’ll use chairs, blocks, bolsters, blankets, straps, and other props to help you find the version of each yoga pose that works for you and feels good for your body. This is a non-competitive environment, with plenty of encouragement and a lighthearted approach. No need for fancy yoga clothes; just wear something you can stretch in and a top that doesn’t flop over your head when you bend forward. If you can breathe and notice, you can practice yoga!
