“Weaving the Stories of Women’s Lives” is the theme for National Women’s History Month 2015, and  the Ohio University-Chillicothe Giving Circle is celebrating the month  by recognizing Ross County Women in Leadership during a dinner in the Bennett Hall art gallery.

Dr. Jennifer Allen, Hope Clinic;  Laura Corcoran, Bishop Flaget principal; Dr. Jean Kerney, K & C Educational Associates; Martha G. Rittinger, Agriculture Leader, Catherine Whalen, United Way Director; Bart Henshaw, Farmer’s  Market; Jona Ison, Reporter; and Patricia Wetzel, Ohio Department of Transportation  will be featured leaders. Enjoy your meal while enjoying women leaders of our area weave their stories for you.

Historical fashion items and dress will be displayed from the Doxsee collections from Ohio University. Trina Gannon, Instructor at The Gladys W. and David H. College of Education, Ohio University, will present “Early 20th Century Ladies Fashions for Success.” Local women will also share and model grandparents’ and great grandparents’ dresses.
